What we're looking for

Are you eager to contribute to the development of innovative manufacturing processes for cell and gene therapies? In our interdisciplinary team, you’ll take on responsibilities in cell culture as a Cell Culture Specialist (m/f/d). You won’t just be working hands-on in the lab—you’ll also dive deep into scientific questions, support technological advancements, and contribute your own ideas in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilites

  • Plan, design, and conduct experimental studies in cell culture

  • Analyze data and evaluate experimental results

  • Prepare summaries and reports of your findings and present them to the team

  • Perform hands-on lab work, including maintenance of animal cell lines

  • Maintain laboratory space and equipment

  • Document work in compliance with GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) standards

  • Develop a deep understanding of manufacturing processes for cell and gene therapies, as well as adherent cell culture

  • Support the team with scientific literature research

  • Conduct technical analyses of challenges to support ongoing development work

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Molecular or Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Bioprocess Engineering, or a related field of study; Alternatively, training as a biological lab technician or biological technical assistant (BTA)

  • Solid knowledge of cell culture techniques, especially in adherent cell culture and MSCs (mesenchymal stem cells)

  • Experience with literature research and scientific databases

  • Independent and detail-oriented working style

  • Excellent English skills (spoken and written)
