Do you like to be among the first
How would elephants spread the word about sustainable lab products? They probably would use infrasound to communicate the remarkable optical properties of the world’s first 96-well plate to their peers up to 10 km away. While that sounds intriguing, we recognize the need for a broader reach to let more people know how they can make labs greener.

The feeling of being the first!
The world's first sustainable 96-well plate is now available. Made from plant-based plastic, it saves you 50% COâ‚‚ compared to standard polystyrene plates. Be among the first to hold the Green Elephant 96-well plate in hand by pre-ordering through our online store - shipping starts end of January.
Here are the key features: The plate is transparent with a flat-bottom shape and optical properties that rival non-renewable polystyrene plates. You can simply carry out your tests and assays like you are used to, but in a much more sustainable way.
What makes a good adherent cell expansion system for CGT?

Sow PLA, reap CellScrew®s
A few months into, we decided to establish our own production facility. Convinced that this was a crucial step to ensure consistent product quality and faster time to market, we swiftly took action: securing premises, orchestrating production plans, procuring equipment, and formulating comprehensive hygiene and security protocols.
After around 9 months of preparation, we now have a production site up and running that is compliant with regulations. What may seem quite straightforward was in reality a collaborative effort by our team in Gießen, making every moment of “harvesting” completed CellScrew®s from the printers at our own production site truly special.

The overwhelming feedback reaffirmed the need for sustainable laboratory consumables. This is further supported by the recognition of our plates as the "Sustainable Product of the Year" by readers of the German industry magazine LABO, as well as a second-place award at the Wallhäußer Innovation Award.
